Less than statutory notice requesting less than 45-day notice to customers, for a Tariff revision that would generate approximately $88,000 (5.6 percent) additional annual revenue to recover the increased cost of disposal fees set by Kittitas County. On November 1, 2024, disposal fees will increase from $143 per ton to $158 per ton at Kittitas County facilities. This filing also adds residential recycling to the Tariff. Kittitas County passed Ordinance 2023-008, which requires recycling for residential customers be provided. The addition of recycling service also will establish a commodity adjustment filing every 12-months to adjust the recycling rate for the value of recycling commodities. The Company serves approximately 4,500 customers and their last rate case became effective October 1, 2014. |
