Less than statutory notice request by Murrey’s Disposal d/b/a Olympic Disposal for revisions to Tariff 23 that would generate approximately $10,800 (0.81 percent) additional annual revenue from residential customers, $10,700 (0.95 percent from commercial customers, and $6,200 (2.5 percent) from drop box customers in additional annual revenues to recover the increased cost of disposal fees set by the Jefferson County Department of Public Works. On January 1, 2025, disposal fees will increase from $161.20 per ton to $165.23 per ton at the Jefferson County Transfer Station. The Company also requests to revise Item 100 to remove glass as a recyclable commodity due to a Jefferson County ordinance change. The Company serves approximately 4,500 residential, 800 commercial and 28 drop box customers in Jefferson County. The Company's last general rate increase became effective on June 1, 2011. The Company has an open general rate increase docket under review. |
