  • 01/27/1999 -- Accepted (Accepted per Consent Agenda.)
  • 01/20/1999 -- Re-open (Request to amend the May 30, 1995 Power Sales Agreement between ARCO and PSE's predecessor Puget Sound Energy, to provide for extension of its term on behalf of Puget Sound Energy from Christy Omohundro.)
  • 07/12/1995 -- Approved (Approve the special contract amendment between Puget and Atlantic Richfield Corporation (Arco), and that the thirty-day advance filing requirement be waived. The Agreement will be subject to review for ratemaking considerations, and the prudence of the Company's decisions, in the next general rate proceeding; and that the difference between the rates charged in the Agreement and tariff rates that would otherwise be applicable to Arco can only be recovered, if at all, after a general rate case. Further, Puget should be required to file testimony and exhibits in its next general rate case specifically addressing the prudence of entering into the agreement with Arco and subsequent amendments. Puget must detail proposed ratemaking treatment for this special contract. The Company, Commission Staff, and other parties should work together prior to any such filing to identify specific areas of concern which should be addressed.)

  • 05/31/1995 -- Approved/LSN ((Original effective date 6/24/95) Approve the special contract effective 05/31/95, granting the request for a waiver of the thirty-day advance filing requirement. Rates under this special contract shall become effective no earlier than September 16, 1995. Staff recommends that the order contain language emphasizing WAC 480-80-335(6), which states that such approval shall not be determinative, unless otherwise provided by the Commission, with respect to the expenses or revenue of the utility for subsequent ratemaking considerations.)
