Revises Tariff No. 25, for increased rates for residential and commercial garbage collection for customers in Pierce County that would generate $732,400 (3.1 percent) in additional annual revenue. The increases are prompted by an increase in disposal fees from $112.94 per ton to $123.29 per ton. Combined with Murrey's Disposal Company, Inc., the company serves approximately 53,000 residential and commercial customers in Pierce County. The Commission, on its own motion, will consider granting an exemption from WAC 480-07-520, supporting documents required to be filed in a general rate case. The last general rate increase approved by the Commission was effective March 1, 2010. |
