Summary |
Proposed general revenue increase of 9.0 percent or $41.0 million. If proposed rates are granted, an average residential customer using 989 kilowatt-hours per month would receive an increase of $7.39, or 9.4 percent. In addition, Avista proposed an Energy Recovery Mechanism (ERM) rebate which will decrease revenues by 2.9 percent or $13.6 million. The ERM rebate would remain in effect for one year. The net effect of the general revenue increase and the ERM rebate is to increase the average residential customer's monthly charge for one year by $4.94 or 6.3 percent.
