Proposed general rate increase that would generate approximately $84,000 (3.5 percent) additional annual revenue to recover the increased cost of disposal fees set by the Kittitas County Solid Waste System. Effective July 21, 2014, disposal fees increased from $86.84 per ton to $95.60 per ton. The company serves approximately 4,500 residential, commercial and drop box customers in Kittitas and Grant Counties; however Grant county customers are not affected by this increase.
