Proposed increases in Item 230 drop box disposal fees. On January 1, 2015, drop box disposal fees, set by Sunshine Recyclers, Inc., at the University Road transfer station will decrease from $99.50 per ton to $94.75 per ton; drop box disposal fees, set by Spokane County at the Sullivan Road transfer station will decrease from $104.59 per ton to $101.00 per ton; and drop box disposal fees, set by the City of Spokane, at the Waste to Energy facility will increase from $99.50 per ton to $102.39 per ton. The net effect of these changes will result in a decrease of $34,600 (2.0 percent) annual revenues and expenses. The company serves approximately 220 drop box customers in Spokane County.
