Summary: Proposed new service in Item 230 disposal fees. On May 1, 2017, the company will be adding the use of the Columbia County Landfill located in Dayton, WA. This landfill uses the same $85.30 per ton disposal fee as the company’s current landfill. There will be no change in revenue. The company serves approximately 4,900 garbage customers in Walla Walla and Columbia Counties. The last general rate increase filed was effective June 1, 2009.
