Tariff revisions to recover increased costs of disposal fees. On January 1, 2021 disposal fees set by the Whitman County Public works department for the Whitman County transfer station will increase from $110.00 to $114.00 per ton. The revisions also reflect Increases by the City of Spokane at the Spokane Waste to Energy facility from $110.65 to $113.86 per ton, and at the Spokane County transfer station from $108.00 to $110.00 per ton. For residential service the revenue increase will be approximately $14,600 (.88 percent); for commercial service the revenue increase will be approximately $13,500 (1.09 percent); and for drop box service the revenue will increase approximately $3,800 (2.32 percent). The company serves 4,800 residential, 900 commercial and 16 drop box customers in Whitman and Spokane counties. The last general rate case became effective April 1, 2018. |
