Tariff revisions in Item 230, disposal fees for mattresses, box springs, and appliances. On March 1, 2023, disposal fees, set by Pierce County Recycling, Composting and Disposal, LLC d/b/a LRI, at the Hidden Valley Transfer Station increased. The appliance disposal rate increased from $40 to $62 (55 percent) per unit. Mattress and box springs exceeding five (5) or more, disposal rate increased from $55 to $60 (9.09 percent) per unit. These new disposal fee rates will become effective August 1, 2023, in the Company's tariff. The Company's last general rate increase became effective on February 1, 2023. |
