Summary: Revises Tariff WN U-3 to increase the rate from $18.00 per month to $22.75 per month for residential local exchange services. On an intrastate basis, the proposed monthly increase is $4.75 for residential service. As part of this filing, the Company also proposes to eliminate the monthly federal access recovery charge of $3.00 for residential access lines. On a regulated basis, the net increase is $1.75 per access line per month. Once taxes and surcharges are accounted for, the actual increase to customers is $0.79 (2.24 percemt increase) per month. The Company claims that the increases are necessary to cover its operating costs and additional savings will help consumers. This filing also eliminates an out of date “option B” service that has not had customers in several years.
