Summary: Less than statutory notice request for tariff revisions No. 4 (G-260) that would generate approximately $105,000 (1.9 percent) additional annual revenue to recover the increased cost of disposal fees. On January 1, 2025, disposal fees, set by the Spokane County, at the North County and Valley Transfer Stations will increase from $125.40 per ton to $130.42 per ton. Disposal fees at the Spokane Waste to Energy Facility, set by the City of Spokane, will also increase from $132.62 per ton to $141.90 per ton. An additional Tariff revision is requested for a commodity adjustment that will reduce revenue by approximately $99,000. The requested Tariff revision is a $2.63 decrease (debit decrease from $2.84 to $0.21) per month.
