Revisions to Tariff No. 25 that would increase rates for residential and commercial garbage service. The increases would generate $732,400 (3.1 percent) in additional annual revenue and are prompted by an increase in disposal fees from $112.94 per ton to $123.29 per ton. Combined with American Disposal Company, Inc., the company serves approximately 53,000 residential and commercial customers in Pierce County. The Commission, on its own motion, will consider granting an exemption from WAC 480-07-520, supporting documents required to be filed in a general rate case. The last general rate increase was effective March 1, 2010. |
