Summary |
In 2012, the Washington Legislature created a permanent institutional framework for the government-to-government relationship between state government and federally recognized Indian tribes by enacting Senate Bill 6175. One of the requirements of that act is that each state agency must designate a tribal liaison who reports directly to the head of the agency. The order in this docket will designate a tribal liaison as required and direct the Secretary to notify the Governor's Office of Indian Affairs of the liaison's contact information. |
