Less than statutory notice request for Tariff revisions that would generate approximately $411,000 (1.04 percent) additional annual revenue to recover the increased cost of disposal fees set by Pierce County Recycling, Composting and Disposal, LLC d/b/a LRI. On March 1, 2024, disposal fees will increase from $171.23 per ton to $174.84 per ton. Also included is a Commodity Price Adjustment for a $1.40 increase (debit increase from $1.25 to $2.65) per month for residential & multi-family recycling customers and $0.76 increase (debit increase from $0.55 to $1.31) per yard for residential & multi-family recycling customers. The Company serves approximately 66,650 residential, 8,000 multi-family, 6,500 commercial and 300 drop box garbage & recycling customers in King County. The Company's last general rate increase became effective on February 1, 2023. |
